Installation Guide

Before You Start

• Verify bearing dimensions match housing bore and shaft
• Clean housing bore thoroughly
• Ensure shaft surface is smooth

Step 1: Press Fitting

Apply even pressure to shell outer diameter ONLY. Never press on rubber lining.

Step 2: Secure Bearing

Install set screws or retaining pins. Do not overtighten.

Step 3: Check Clearance

Insert shaft, measure clearance with feeler gauge. Shaft should turn freely with slight resistance.

Step 4: Water Supply Check

Verify water flow path unobstructed. Minimum 0.5 L/min per 100mm shaft diameter.

Step 5: Initial Run-In

Start at low RPM. Gradually increase to operating speed over 2-4 hours. Monitor temperature, should stabilize below 60C.
